Resonate Brass, in which I play tuba, is primarily a traditional brass quintet formed from the players within the brass section of Exeter Symphony Orchestra. That is: two trumpets, french horn, trombone and tuba. We are extremely fortunate in that we are able to call on our colleagues in ESO to perform as a larger brass ensemble, or to deputise when one of the core members is unable to attend.
The quintet only undertake engagements on request, as all the players are kept fairly busy with their commitments to Exeter Symphony Orchestra and other orchestras and bands througout Devon and Somerset.
