Here’s a new, modern piece of brass band repertoire for you: it’s not easy, and it’s a bit mad in places, but it has a peaceful middle section, which gives way to the madness of the opening! I’ve been writing it for a few weeks now, but came to a bit of standstill and lost the creativity I needed, but it’s come back – and this is the result. It’s not an easy piece, and I would suggest it’s only suitable for bands in the 2nd Section and upwards.
I have revisited this work in June 2023 and given it a little more life!
