The Lord’s Prayer

£46.99

Originally written as a choral work with piano accompaniment, this arrangement for brass band works really well. It has some modern harmonies and modulations throughout, and I particularly like the somewhat ‘cheesy’ ending! I hope you do too!

Here’s the brass band version:

Below is the orginal choral setting of my piece The Lord’s Prayer. Set for SSAATB and piano, minus the lyrics – Sibelius Ultimate isn’t that good! I think it’s a very effective work, but sadly the Musical Director of the choir for whom it was written thought ‘the parts were too high’ and it was never performed. She may have been right about the alto part, but it was the way she said it after I presented her with 40 copies for her choir. Guess what? I didn’t write another thing for them, and no, I’m not telling you which choir it was, but they are from Exmouth in Devon.
